Sadat Hossain is a young Bangladeshi writer who started his career with photography and later on proliferated as a filmmaker and author. His novels were the best sellers at the ‘Ekushey Book Fair’ in recent years. He won the Best Filmmaker award with his short film ‘The Shoes’ in ‘Short Film Festivals 2016’ organized by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. He has also won the Junior Chamber International Award 2013 in the category of Cultural Achievement for his short film ‘Bodh’ and book ‘Janalar Opashe’. Recently he has won SBSP-RP Foundation Literary Award 2018. He was also termed as one of the ‘Ten Outstanding Young Personalities of Bangladesh in 2013 . So far he has written around 10 books including poetry and photography.
