The workshop designed for visual artists, animators, early career filmmakers, and researchers will provide hands-on demonstration of the making of Avik Mukhopadhyay’s stop-motion animation ‘LUBDHAK’ (under-production).
Avik has been working on this project since 2013, which involves multiple stages of film production and innovations. Beginning with the making of the models, to production-design, unto technical innovations and uses of motion-control and other animation softwares, the process has been long and tedious.
Avik will take the participants through the various stages of the making of stop-motion animation by using the same models and equipment.
Entry Free, number of seats 15
This workshop is part of the 5th Little Cinema International Festival for Experimental Films and New Media Art. The production of “Lubdhak” is supported by India Foundation For The Arts under the Arts Practice programme with support from Technicolor India.
